This is a story of how a girl meets a boy and it goes like this:
It was December 22, 2000, if I haven’t mistaken, when a girl was able to attend a Children’s Christmas Party at a school nearby thier house. She really enjoyed watching the song and dance numbers prepared by the children. She had looked around the school vicinity, and then suddenly someone gets her attention. He looks neat, kind and it seems that he was very serious, that’s why she got curious about him.
She didn’t notice that they’re studying at the same school that time. Until one day, she saw him in their school and she got shocked. From then on, she always look for him during their flag ceremony and sometimes while she and her classmates were playing and waiting for the bell to ring. He was a six grader that time while she was only a fifth grader.
As years passed by, she had gathered some basic information about him from his cousins who became her schoolmates. When she was in third year high school, she had noticed that he was an active altar server in their Parish. Mostly, there were times that she had to attend the mass in the morning with her grandmother and still attend the mass in the evening with her friends just to see him. Funny but true! Ha! Ha! Ha! It was October 2004 when she was chosen as one of the participants to represent their school for the church activity which was the “Living Rosary”. It became the start of her active participation in the church activities. She's always attending the general assembly of the Parish Commission on Youth with her firends and they were also become a part of the PCY Mini Olympics.
The Rogationist Seminary-Manila successfully held its annual Summer Vocation Orientation last April 2-6,2008 with the theme, “The Search for Rogationist Idol 2008”. The applicants shared their availability and openness to discover the calling of God. During the five-day orientation, the seminarians helped these young men to learn and to experience the seminary kind of living.
He went to Rogationist Seminary-Manila together with his friends to undergo the said Summer Vocation Orientation. Fortunately, he was chosen as one of the Rogationist Idol out of many aspirants. He had decided to enter the seminary. Until, the time comes that he needs to say goodbye to them, his fellow PCY friends. He was the Vice-President and also a Music Ministry member that time.
Last May 18, 2008, it was their general assembly; each Executive Board member of PCY had given him a message. Almost all of them were happy for his decision but of course, felt a little bit sad.
He had received a Certificate of Recognition from PCY family for being a part of the organization and for doing his best to serve GOD.
They have offered a group prayer for him, for his guidance, safety, good health and success.
Before he enter the seminary, they had a chance to become close with each other and spent different activities together... <3
